Feeling slightly better today, thanks for the get well wishes!<br />Architect Patrick Ahearn built this house on Martha’s Vineyard to look as though it has evolved over time. Interior designer Marigil Walsh was appointed to make it look warm and inviting. The pottery studio sits to the right. The limestone floor allows easy plant maintenance—it can be soaked with water.<br /><div style="overflow: hidden; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; border: medium none;"><br /><img alt="" src="http://www.architecturaldigest.com/images/homes/2006/06/hutker/hosl05_hutker.jpg" style="width: 507px; height: 602px;" /><br />Located in the guest wing, the recreation room’s exposed timbers, wide-plank floors and weathered paneling suggest a converted barn. Good morning everyone! Today we will have a look at a beautiful remodeled and expanded house on Martha’s Vineyard. Access to the room is provided by a secret passage below the stair or from the library via the terrace.<br /><br /><img alt="" src="http://www.architecturaldigest.com/images/architects/2007/02/stern/arsl09_stern.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 782px;" /><br />The second-floor landing, just off the master bedroom, is illuminated by a skylight and a clerestory.<br /><br /><img alt="" src="http://www.architecturaldigest.com/images/architects/2007/02/stern/arsl10_stern.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 497px;" /><br />In the master bedroom, detailed millwork gives the space architectural distinction. I like the bunny rabbits door stoppers.<br /><br /><img alt="" src="http://www.architecturaldigest.com/images/architects/2007/02/stern/arsl14_stern.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 497px;" /><br />At the rear elevation, French doors open the house to private decks and the common space of the garden terrace<br /><br /><img alt="" src="http://www.architecturaldigest.com/images/architects/2007/02/stern/arsl16_stern.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 745px;" /><br />Surrounded by gardens, the expanded, redesigned poolhouse—the design of which echoes that of the house—has a screen porch that overlooks the pool.<br /><br />Architecture by Robert A. New Home on Martha's Vineyard

Come and have a look inside this residence on Martha’s Vineyard. Remodeled by architects Mark Ferguson and Oscar Shamamian. The interiors were designed by Michael S. At the foot of the tigermaple cannonball bed, a custom design, is a 19th-century quilt.<br /><br /><img alt="" class="slideImgLeft" id="slideImg" src="http://www.architecturaldigest.com/images/architects/2006/06/ferguson/arsl06_ferguson.jpg" /><br />Colonial American elements such as the lunette window and beadboard walls and ceiling in one of the guests' rooms.
